Soon, it will be easier to tell exactly how well your Twitter account is performing. Twitter is currently alpha-testing Twitter Analytics, an official analysis tool that will allow users to see which tweets are most successful, which tweets cause the most unfollows and how many impressions their tweets are getting. This is an exciting development for any business that uses Twitter as part of its social media strategy.
A spokesperson for Twitter said that the product was created in response to â€œa strong demand for better monitoring and analytics tools.â€

Although no official word on an exact wide release date for this product, an official with Twitter did say earlier this year that Twitter Analytics would be released around the end of 2010. We'll keep you posted on any developments.
