Project Manager

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our digital marketing agency. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work for the agency’s projects. Your expertise in project management, coupled with your understanding of digital marketing including web development and web design, will be essential in driving successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing the details, and possesses exceptional communication and leadership skills.

The Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Timeline Management: Develop project plans and timelines in collaboration with clients, design teams, and developers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client projects.

Including presenting project parameters and communicating check points through the project to set client expectations and to ensure a timely delivery of quality work.

Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources, including designers, developers, and other team members, to ensure the effective execution of project tasks and deliverables.

Quality Assurance: Establish and implement quality control processes to ensure that all project work adheres to industry standards and client requirements.

Client Communication and Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Including delivery of detailed progress reports and forecasts on assigned projects to internal team and to the client on a weekly basis.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential project risks and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them. Continuously monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.

Collaboration and Coordination: Foster a collaborative work environment by facilitating effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams, including advertising specialists, marketing specialists, web designers/developers, and other stakeholders. Including, managing communication of project technical guidelines to the client to ensure understanding and capabilities for projects from initial setup through design and execution of the work.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and status updates. Provide regular reports to the management team on project milestones, risks, and overall progress. Examples of documentation related to projects include tracking changes in scope, actual hours against a project plan, and making appropriate changes to deliver projects and programs on time and on budget. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and improve project management methodologies within the agency.

The Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Agency Experience, Digital Marketing, Agency Project Management, Web Development and/or Web Design) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in an agency, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and design principles, web development processes,
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are desirable but not mandatory.

Supplementary Technical Skills Desired:

Substantial knowledge of digital marketing, including web development, web design, social media advertising, search advertising, search engine optimization, tools like Google Analytics, Asana, Accelo, WordPress, FB Biz Manager and all related tools used within a digital marketing agency.

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States and be able to work at our North Phoenix office, just south of Union Hills and east of the I-17 at 18456 N 25th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85023. Our core hours of operation are from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
