Pew Study: 58 Percent of Americans Research Products Online

According to a study by the Pew Research Center, 58 percent of 3,001 Americans surveyed said that they head to the Internet to find out more about products, up from 49 percent in 2004. Strictly among the Internet-using population, 78 percent of adults in the U.S. conduct product research online. Here's how the numbers break down:

The Pew study also says that 24 percent of surveyed U.S. adults and 32 percent of Internet users has reviewed products online in some capacity.
