Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist partners with a mix of small business and franchise brands to develop national, regional, and local advertising strategies across a variety of channels. As the lead advertiser on a brand, your role involves a combination of data analysis, strategy development, and client communication. In this position, you will provide advertising recommendations, manage the overall strategy, and collaborate on reporting, presentations, and analysis for small-to-medium franchise brands. You will also work one-on-one with franchise locations to optimize their Facebook and Google campaigns and provide guidance on best practices. Your day-to-day will involve setting up ad campaigns, making ongoing optimizations, analyzing performance at scale, and communicating with your clients. We are a highly collaborative team, and this role is expected to work across departments to deliver appropriate advertising strategies, tactics, and performance measures to meet objectives for our clients

Our ideal candidate has:
  • 3+ years of advertising experience at an agency or similar role
  • Degree in advertising, marketing, communication science or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Firm grasp of emerging digital tools and the various paid marketing channels, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more
  • Franchise or multi-location experience a plus!
  • TikTok, Programmatic, OTT/CTV, Waze, and other platforms a plus!
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven track record running paid search and paid social campaigns for clients
  • Ability to perform keyword research, content analysis, and campaign optimization
  • Fast-learning skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering quality services
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
