The Marketing Specialist partners with a mix of small business and franchise brands to develop national, regional, and local advertising strategies across a variety of channels. As the lead advertiser on a brand, your role involves a combination of data analysis, strategy development, and client communication. In this position, you will provide advertising recommendations, manage the overall strategy, and collaborate on reporting, presentations, and analysis for small-to-medium franchise brands. You will also work one-on-one with franchise locations to optimize their Facebook and Google campaigns and provide guidance on best practices. Your day-to-day will involve setting up ad campaigns, making ongoing optimizations, analyzing performance at scale, and communicating with your clients. We are a highly collaborative team, and this role is expected to work across departments to deliver appropriate advertising strategies, tactics, and performance measures to meet objectives for our clients
- 3+ years of advertising experience at an agency or similar role
- Degree in advertising, marketing, communication science or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Firm grasp of emerging digital tools and the various paid marketing channels, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more
- Franchise or multi-location experience a plus!
- TikTok, Programmatic, OTT/CTV, Waze, and other platforms a plus!
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven track record running paid search and paid social campaigns for clients
- Ability to perform keyword research, content analysis, and campaign optimization
- Fast-learning skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
